TieUs Mail & News Setup for Microsoft Outlook Express

The following step-by-step instruction is to help customers setup Microsoft
Outlook Express E-mail and news systems :

Part One : E-mail system setup.

1. Select and double click Microsoft Outlook Express icon on the screen.

2. On the menu bar of this screen, choose "Tools", and then choose "Accounts".

3.In this window, we press "Add" button, and then select "Mail...".

4.In the "Internet Connection Wizard" window, type your name in the text box (after Display name), and then select "Next >".

5.In this window, type the E-mail address we give to you, and then press "Next >".

6. Type in exactly the same thing as shown in this window, and then press "Next >".

7. a). In the first text box (the one after "POP account name"), type in the login name

         which you fill in the application form.
    b). In the next text box (the one after "Password"), type in the password we give to you.
    c). Press "Next >".

    


8. In this text box, you can type in any name you like. This name usually represents the name of your current internet server provider(You can look at the instruction listed in this window). After typing the name, press "Next >".  

    


9. In the next windows, we select the first option "Connect using my phone line", and then press "next >".

    


10. In this step, choose the last option(choosing TieUs connection)from this list box, and then press "Next >".

11. Final step : press "Finish" in this window. Now you finish the setup process.

Part Two : News system setup

1. Repeat step1 and step2 on the top of this page.

2. In this window, we press "Add" button, and then select "News...".
    (Make sure you select "News" on the left hand side first)

3. In this window, we type in our full name, and then press "Next >".

    


4. In this window, we type in our E-mail address, and then press "Next >".

5. In this window, we type in "news.tieus.com", and then press "Next >".

6. In this text box, you can type in any name you like. This name usually represents the

    name of your current internet server provider(You can look at the instruction listed in

    this window). After typing the name, press "Next >".  

7. In the next window, we select the first option "Connect using my phone line", and then press "next >".

8. In this step, choose the last option(choosing TieUs connection)from this list box, and then press "Next >".

9. Final step : press "Finish" in this window. Now you finish the setup process.

Additional update tips:

After you finish these setup instructions, you can change some information by
following the next few steps : 

1. Repeat step1 and step2 on the top of this page.

2. In this window, we select the name of the account on the left hand side first.
    Then we go to the right hand side and press "Properties".

3. You can change the information under the "General" and "Servers" option.

4. After you finish the change, press "OK" on the bottom of this window (or press "Cancel" to maintain the original settings).
