TieUs Mail
& News Setup for Netscape Communicator
The following step-by-step instruction is to help
people install and setup E-mail and news systems in the Netscape
Communicator :
*Before the following steps proceed, you have to download and install
Netscape Communicator
first.
1. After the installation of Netscape Communicator, we double click
"Netscape Communicator" on
the desktop.

2. In this window, we just press "Next
>" to go to the next step.

3. a). In the first text box of this window, type
in the full name of the user.
b). In the second text box, type in your E-mail
address.
c). Press "Next
>" after you finish typing.

4. In this window, we don't have to change anything.
We just press "Next >"
and go to the next step.

5. a). In this window, we type in our full
name in the first text box.
b). In the second text box, we type in our E-mail
address.
c). In the third text box, we type in "mail.tieus.com".
d). And then press "Next
>".

6. a). In the first text box of this window, we type
in our "Mail server user name
This is the name which you fill in the application form, not your full name).
b). In the second text box, type in "mail.tieus.com".
c). In the Mail Server type, we select "POP3",
and then press "Next >".

7. In this window, type in exactly the same thing
as shown here. Then press "Finish".

Additional Tips:
For people who has already installed Netscape Communicator
but would like to update or change some information about the Mail
Server, here is the other step-by-step instruction :
1. Repeat step 1 on the top of this page.
2. In the Netscape Communicator, choose "Edit"
from the menu bar, and then select "Preference".

3. In the Preference window, double click "Mail
& Groups" on the left hand side.

4.Select "Identity"
under "Mail & Groups",
and then you can update your information on the right hand side.

5. You can also select "Mail
Server" under "Mail &
Groups" to update your information.

6. After you finish the change, press "OK"
on the bottom of this window (or press "Cancel"
to maintain the original settings).
